Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Senior Manufacturing Manager (Level L) to lead parts of Boeing Commercial Airplane's 777 Fuselage Assembly Center (FAC) team in Everett, Washington . This position is for the FAC Production Recovery Sr. Manager with a focus on out of shop travelers. A manager in this role will develop cross-functional partnerships to achieve team and program goals while developing a work environment that promotes accountability, trust, teamwork, quality and safety.Position Responsibilities:
Manages employees and first-level managers performing activities within multiple manufacturing disciplines Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals and objectives Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers Integrates and partners with other Senior Leaders on 777 Program for statement of work execution Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 5+ years of experience in an Aerospace, Fabrication or Manufacturing environment 3+ years of experience in a leadership role leading diverse teams, initiatives and projects to meet business objectives and influence change 3+ years of experience working within a cross-functional organizational environment Ability to work any shift including weekends and overtime Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 3+ years of experience in lean processes and initiatives 3+ years of experience in coaching, guiding and mentoring teams 3+ years of experience in working to lead and develop teams to execute to safety, compliance, quality and cost 3+ years of experience in Manufacturing Structures Great communicator both within organization and outside organizationConflict of Interest:
