The project manager works with the company's customers directly to assess and help meet their needs. In addition, the project manager has responsibilities in the direct manufacturing facility. We're looking for a Manager of Quoting & Estimating to lead our Tech Rep team and drive accurate, competitive estimates for complex machining projects. In this role, you'll partner with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Subject Matter Experts to evaluate project requirements, determine manufacturing strategies, and develop profitable solutions for customers around the world. Requirements What You'll Do Lead and develop a team of technical estimators and quoting specialists. Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and project requirements to build accurate estimates. Evaluate machining processes, labor, materials, tooling, and production costs. Work closely with Sales and Operations to ensure projects are technically sound and commercially successful. Continuously improve estimating processes, systems, and team performance. Support customer discussions regarding project scope, pricing, and technical requirements. Promote and enforce a strong safety culture. What We're Looking For 3+ years of leadership experience in machining, manufacturing, estimating, or engineering. Strong understanding of CNC machining, manufacturing processes, and shop operations. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications. Experience developing quotes, estimates, project plans, or manufacturing cost models. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills. Project management experience is a plus.
