About the Role We are seeking an experienced Metal Building Foreman to lead crews on pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) erection projects in Birmingham, AL. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who understands metal building construction, can manage field operations, and knows how to keep crews working safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise crews during PEMB erection and installation. Direct daily field activities and ensure work stays on schedule. Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications. Coordinate equipment, materials, rigging, and manpower at the jobsite. Ensure erection work is completed safely, accurately, and in accordance with project requirements. Train, coach, and provide direction to crew members. Monitor jobsite productivity, quality, and safety. Identify and resolve field issues quickly to minimize delays. Coordinate with project management, subcontractors, and other site personnel. Maintain a professional and safety-focused jobsite environment. Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience as a Foreman leading PEMB/metal building erection crews — required. Strong hands-on knowledge of pre-engineered metal building erection. Proven ability to supervise and coordinate field crews. OSHA 30-Hour certification required. Ability to read construction drawings and follow project specifications. Strong understanding of rigging, lifting, and jobsite safety procedures. Ability to work onsite and lead crews in an active construction environment.
Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
