About the role We're looking for a Production Supervisor who knows metal fabrication from the shop floor up. You'll lead the production team day-to-day, keep jobs moving on schedule, and make sure work gets done safely and accurately the first time. This is a hands-on role where you'll spend most of your day on the floor. What you'll do Lead, schedule, and support production employees across fabrication operations, including press brake and saw work Assign daily work and adjust priorities to meet production schedules and delivery dates Train employees on equipment, safe work practices, and quality standards Enforce safety rules and OSHA requirements; lead by example on PPE and housekeeping Check work for quality and accuracy against drawings and specs; address issues before parts ship Read and interpret blueprints and work orders, and help the team do the same Use our computer and ERP system to review work orders, track job status, and log production Coach employees, handle attendance and performance issues, and take part in hiring Work with Operations Manager to flag material needs, equipment problems, and schedule risks Look for ways to reduce scrap, rework, and downtime What we're looking for 10+ years of experience in metal fabrication 5+ years of experience supervising or leading a production team Comfortable using a computer for email, work orders, and basic reporting Working knowledge of press brakes and saws Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools (tape, calipers, etc.) Clear communicator who can manage people fairly and hold the team accountable Strong understanding of shop-floor safety Able to stand and walk for most of the shift and lift up to [50] lbs Nice to have Welding experience Experience with an ERP system (e.g., SAP, JobBOSS, etc)
