Job Description
- Lead and enforce safety training, audits, and accountability for all Moulder employees.
- Supervise daily Moulder department operations including production, quality, housekeeping, organization, and maintenance.
- Plan and manage Moulder run schedules and shipments.
- Work closely with the Sales department to resolve customer quality and service concerns.
- Ensure all quality standards are met and quality processes are followed.
- Oversee production reports, downtime reports, time and attendance data entry, and administrative tasks.
- Direct maintenance activities and preventative maintenance planning for Moulder equipment.
- Maintain strong communication with Sales regarding orders, priorities, and special requests.
- Lead, develop, and hold associates accountable to performance and safety expectations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Dry End Superintendent.
What We Are Looking For Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Past work experience in the pattern lumber manufacturing process.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on safety, quality, and accountability.
- Ability to work across multiple shifts as needed to support a two-shift operation.
- Strong computer skills, including use of electronic order and reporting systems.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Supervisory experience in pattern lumber or finished lumber operations.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience directing maintenance activities.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience in production reporting, downtime analysis, and maintenance planning. Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Ability to work in a noisy industrial manufacturing environment.
- Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, reach, and work around moving equipment.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Ability to wear and operate required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including weather exposure.
