Assigns tasks and adjusts workloads to meet production goals, schedules and monitors training and assess progress of the employees, monitors production quality and uses leadership skills to solve problems with employees.

Vance, AL PrideStaff is seeking a motivated and hands-on Production Supervisor for our client in the Vance area. This role is responsible for driving productivity, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a safe, team-oriented work environment in a high-volume manufacturing setting. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop a team to meet daily production goals and performance expectations Plan, schedule, and assign personnel to ensure efficient production flow Monitor production performance, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements Enforce standardized work, quality procedures, and safety protocols Maintain a safe and organized work environment, ensuring proper use of PPE and equipment Train team members and ensure required skill levels are achieved and sustained Collaborate with quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to resolve issues and improve processes Support production needs by adjusting priorities and stepping in as needed Oversee staffing of machines and processes to ensure optimal efficiency Manage employee time, attendance, and scheduling through ADP Coordinate equipment changeovers, first-piece verification, and communication of quality alerts Maintain documentation and ensure alignment with production schedules Qualifications & Experience Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Strong understanding of standardized work, industry-standard quality systems, and manufacturing processes Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and build a strong team Solid problem-solving and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment Working knowledge of basic math concepts (fractions, ratios, proportions) Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer use Forklift and First Responder certification (or willingness to obtain) Associate degree preferred Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods (8+ hours) Ability to lift up to 35 pounds Flexibility to work weekends and rotating shifts as needed If you meet the requirements and are interested.
