Responsibilities:
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes and efficiencies, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods Assist in planning and establishing work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals, Use SAP Scanner, Cassioli Scanner, Cassioli/SAP system for input and inventory accuracy Demonstrate equipment operations and work and safety procedures to new team members, or assign team members to experienced workers for training. Running the Low Stock report to assure the correct material is ordered from T2 or unloaded from the yard and induced into Cassioli before it is needed in picking/replenishment Interacting with Planning, Engineering, or Launch to ensure that the correct parts are loaded in the Cassiolli and reflected on picking list Observe work, and monitors gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure that operators conform to production or processing standards. Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports in order to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs Confer with management to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments and to resolve worker problems and complaints Assure receiving related logs and paper filing are always up to date as required for all audits Write and develop processes or continuous improvement ideas to increase efficiency within the department. Create/maintain training matrix's of all direct reports, Knowledge of Quality Systems on Automotive industry quality system requirements (i.e.
IATF16949, VDA6.1/6.3, ISO 9001, CCC
Requirements:
3 - 5 years experience as a materials supervisor/supertintendent or related field. Knowledge of raw materials, production processes and efficiencies, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment SAP experience/-Microsoft Office Nice to have (Tier 1 background with any
OEM, CPIM
