Essential Duties:

• Work closely with Plant Management to assure adherence to schedules, efficient use of personnel skills, production machinery and other resources.
• Instruct employees in departmental safety and job specific procedures.
• The skills to lead and manage a team effectively. The ability to motivate the team to succeed in a positive manner.
• The ability to take responsibility for both the success and failure of his or her team.
• Commitment to your team by embracing professional development, passion, perseverance, and prioritization to meet the needs of the company.
• The ability to learn to read and understand blueprints.
• Knowledge of structural steel materials, welding, layout, and fabrication, machine operation and material handling.
• Knowledge of industrial equipment and maintenance.
• The ability to work a flexible schedule.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Associates degree preferred but not required.
• Prior experience preferred but not required.
