Basic Job Functions:

The role of the Roll Shop Utility includes, but is not limited to the following: Ensure safe work environment for their self and their coworkers. Perform daily crane inspections & operations. Assist in Roll Shop & Mill maintenance. Accurately fill out paperwork legibly and complete. Learn to navigate the RMS system. Greasing Chocks and updating RMS system when completed. Keep RMS updated when wear rings are installed. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practies, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

1 year minimum of Hot Mill production or roll Shop Experience in the Steel Industry.

Preferred Qualifications:
