At 3Z Brands, our culture is built on three core values: Care Commitment Curiosity We are seeking a motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing operations during our second shift and help drive productivity, safety, quality, and employee engagement across the facility. Position Summary The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading and supporting manufacturing operations during second shift. This position provides direct leadership to production employees, ensures production goals are achieved, promotes a culture of safety and accountability, and drives continuous improvement throughout the operation. The ideal candidate is a hands-on manufacturing leader who enjoys being on the production floor, developing employees, solving operational challenges, and leading teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Qualifications Manufacturing Leadership Production Supervision Employee Coaching & Development Safety Compliance Production Planning Performance Management Continuous Improvement Lean Manufacturing Principles Process Improvement Production Metrics & KPIs Root Cause Analysis Team Building Bilingual English/Spanish (Preferred) Essential Responsibilities Lead daily production operations during second shift while ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are achieved. Supervise, coach, and develop production employees across assigned manufacturing areas. Monitor staffing levels, workflow, and production schedules to maximize operational efficiency. Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and employee engagement. Provide training, coaching, performance feedback, and ongoing development opportunities for team members. Identify production bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve efficiency and reduce downtime. Monitor production metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational performance. Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety procedures, and manufacturing standards. Partner with Production Managers and Plant Leadership to communicate production performance, staffing needs, quality concerns, and operational opportunities. Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, safety, and cost reduction. Investigate production issues and assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions. Maintain accurate production records and shift reports. Support hiring, onboarding, and development of production employees as needed. Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience . Previous experience supervising employees in a manufacturing, production, assembly, or industrial environment. Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop production teams. Experience managing employee performance, productivity, attendance, and workplace expectations. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production metrics, and operational workflows. Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and accident prevention. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual English and Spanish. Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Kaizen initiatives. Experience in mattress, bedding, foam, furniture, assembly, consumer products, or related manufacturing environments. Experience working in high-volume manufacturing operations. Experience with production reporting and KPI tracking. Schedule 2nd Shift Hours may vary between 3:00 PM and 3:00 AM Overtime and weekend work may be required based on business needs
