As we grow, we need a hands-on leader who can run the daily production floor — keeping the schedule on track, the team accountable, and quality and food safety consistent — while partnering closely with ownership on the bigger decisions. This is not a background, spreadsheet-only role: the right person leads from the floor, jumps in on cooking, stamping, dipping, cutting, or packing whenever output requires it, and treats food safety as a daily discipline. Key Responsibilities Staff Management (Day-to-Day) Directly manage the Floor Lead, Associates, and Prep & Finish Associates during each shift — set daily expectations, coach performance, and hold the team accountable to the production schedule and quality standards. Publish the daily production schedule and run brief daily huddles so the team starts each shift aligned; recommend weekly staff hours for CEO/President approval. Support onboarding and training of new production staff; flag performance or conduct issues to ownership and recommend next steps — final hiring and termination decisions are made by the CEO and President. Daily Operations & Hands-On Production Own execution of the daily production plan against target output metrics (cook, stamp, dip, top, cut, pack, seal, label). Step in on any station — cooking, tray finishing, dipping, cutting, or packing — daily to support the team to hit the schedule. Track actual output against the standard minutes-per-task metrics and flag bottlenecks in real time. Adjust flow and task priorities to meet production output and customer order delivery. Complete purchasing and support delivery to local customers using company vehicle as needed. Food Safety & Quality Serve as the floor-level point person for the
