This role oversees a team responsible for set‑up, operation, and programming of multiple CNC lathe machines. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and a commitment to maintaining safe, efficient, and high‑quality production. Compensation Annual pay range is $110,000-$125,000, inclusive of expected overtime based on typical operational needs. Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate first‑shift CNC lathe activities, ensuring production goals and quality standards are met.
- Perform advanced CNC lathe set‑ups, tooling adjustments, offsets, and program as needed.
- Train, mentor, and support operators and set‑up personnel to strengthen skill development and performance.
- Review and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate machining.
- Troubleshoot machining issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain machine performance through routine inspections and coordination of maintenance needs.
- Monitor workflow, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources to maximize efficiency.
- Enforce safety policies, housekeeping standards, and compliance with company procedures.
- Collaborate with production management, engineering, and quality teams to support continuous improvement. Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of CNC lathe experience, including set‑up, operation, and programming.
- Prior supervisory or lead experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of G‑code, tooling, feeds/speeds, and machining best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and precision measurement tools.
- Proven leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Pay:
