Full-Time, Day Shift About Us We are a premier custom metal fabrication shop known for delivering high-quality, precision craftsmanship. From architectural features to unique industrial builds, we bring complex custom designs to life. We are seeking a skilled, organized, and driven Shop Foreman to lead our production team and keep our projects moving efficiently. Position Overview As the Shop Foreman, you will oversee daily shop operations, manage production schedules, and lead a team of fabricators and welders. This is a working leadership role that blends hands-on fabrication expertise with project estimation and blueprint interpretation.
Key Responsibilities Team Leadership:
Manage, mentor, and schedule shop personnel to ensure safety, quality, and productivity.
Blueprint Interpretation:
Read and accurately interpret complex architectural drawings, structural blueprints, and shop submittals.
Project Estimation:
Review incoming RFQs and drawings to accurately estimate material, labor, and time requirements for custom projects.
Quality Control:
Inspect fabrication and welding work to guarantee it meets strict project specifications and industry standards.
Workflow Management:
Coordinate material ordering, track project timelines, and ensure on-time delivery of finished products.
Qualifications Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in custom metal fabrication and welding.
Leadership:
Proven track record in a supervisory, foreman, or lead fabricator role.
Technical Skills:
Expert proficiency in reading and translating architectural drawings and blueprints.
Estimating:
Direct experience calculating material costs, labor hours, and project timelines.
Welding/Fabrication:
Strong hands-on skills working with various metals (steel, stainless steel, aluminum) and processes (MIG, TIG).
Bilingual :
