Job Summary AppleOne is seeking an experienced Whey Plant Supervisor for a direct hire opportunity in Hanford, CA with a food and beverage production operation. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for a manufacturing professional with experience in dairy processing, whey production, food manufacturing, production supervision, and continuous improvement. The Whey Plant Supervisor will lead daily plant operations, support food safety and quality standards, coach production employees, and help drive performance across safety, efficiency, yield, and customer satisfaction. This is a strong opportunity for a motivated operations leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment with a team-focused culture, supportive leadership, and clear expectations around safety, accountability, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily whey production activities, including work assignments, production goals, staffing needs, workflow, and labor utilization. Lead, coach, train, and develop production employees while managing attendance, scheduling, accountability, and performance expectations. Monitor key operational metrics such as yield, efficiency, downtime, quality results, and plant productivity. Ensure compliance with GMPs, food safety standards, company policies, OSHA requirements, and
FSSC 22000
expectations. Partner with Quality Assurance, Food Safety, Maintenance, and Sanitation teams to resolve production issues, support audits, and maintain equipment reliability. Lead continuous improvement efforts, root cause investigations, corrective actions, and safety initiatives across the whey production area.
Compensation and Benefits Salary range:
$90,000 to $95,000 per year.
