Pair is seeking a Rx Lab Coating Lead hiring for our prescription eyewear manufacturing department in Irvine, CA. This role will report to our Coating Supervisor.
What You'll Do:
You will maintain company Health and Safety standards including PPE (where applicable) You will have a lead role in training of all new Coating Operator associates You will support the Rx-Lab production team in driving flawless execution of the Coating department, support the implementation of standard operating procedures (SOP) to ensure efficient and effective processes in order to maximize productivity You will communicate clear priorities and productivity goals to Coating Department Associates and hold team and self-accountable for achieving them You will provide management with productivity updates; proactively identify and communicate feedback on Associate performance You will troubleshoot production errors, while providing constructive feedback to team You will partner with other area leaders, ensuring continuity amongst the broader group exist You will interact daily with production supervisor, QA, maintenance, and other groups to keep operations running smoothly and properly You will coordinate the daily prioritization of production order(s) within the Coating Department, escalating any and all delays You will receive and put away replenishment inventory in a timely manner You will provide project support within assigned area You will provide objective feedback and coaching on performance to staff and shares feedback as required Support other Production/Operations (Print/Logistics, Stockroom, Coating) on an as needed basis You will maintain excellent working relationships with other area/department leaders You will analyze daily production metrics, takes a proactive approach for implementing improvements in a timely manner
Who You Are:
You are detailed and organized You have previous experience in similar industry You are an effective communicator and capable of leading with empathy You have excellent multitasking skills You are comfortable working in a fast-paced light manufacturing environment You are self-motivated and an efficient problem solver Need to
Have:
2+ years of experience in a production environment leading teams A proven track record meeting/exceeding expectations Good practical experience with Google Suite Basic computer knowledge Strong organizational skills, together with a results-driven approach Strong communication and interpersonal skills High School Diploma Available to work on site full time Nice to
Have:
Experience with Schneider Optical Machinery Experience with DVI (Digital Vision Inc), LMS (Lab Management System) Experience providing operational training to others

These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. The pay range for this position is expected to be between $23.00 - $31.00 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience.
