• Full-time Sub-Parts Foreman | Beamline Foreman | Bay Foreman 1st Shift, 2nd Shift & Weekend Shift Available McWhirter Steel is hiring experienced structural steel foremen to lead critical areas of our shop.

These are hands-on leadership roles for individuals who take pride in running efficient operations, holding high standards, and building strong teams. All positions are working foreman roles — you will lead from the front while ensuring production, quality, and culture meet our expectations. What All Roles Have in Common Enforce and maintain a safe work environment Ensure high-quality output across all operations Drive efficiency and productivity Maintain organization and cleanliness Build a positive, high-performance culture Manage people : hiring, discipline, coaching, and accountability Hold a high standard for productivity and performance Serve as a working leader , assisting wherever needed Maintain and enforce company procedures and standards Sub-Parts Foreman Responsibilities Maximize uptime by ensuring plate machines and EMI are loaded with the right material Ensure sub-parts are organized by lot Maintain flow and readiness of materials to support downstream operations Beamline Foreman Responsibilities Drive efficiency by setting daily production goals and tracking performance metrics Maximize uptime by keeping the beamline continuously loaded Ensure all outgoing material is properly staged and labeled Maintain flow and accuracy of beamline output Bay Foreman Responsibilities Orchestrate material flow to keep fitters and welders working at all times Ensure the next assembly is always ready as soon as one is completed Conduct weekly productivity reviews with plant manager Track progress against daily production goals Maintain shop flow, coordination, and throughput

What We're Looking For Required:

Structural steel foreman experience Strong leadership presence and accountability mindset Ability to manage people, production, and priorities simultaneously Hands-on approach — willing to jump in and help wherever needed High attention to detail and commitment to standards Why McWhirter Steel?
