The Production Supervisor provides hands-on support, leadership, and direction to their direct reports including Technicians, Leads and Associates. The successful candidate for this position takes pride in their hands-on and analytical abilities, organization skills and attention to detail. What You'll Do Provide effective supervision and coaching to assigned shift/employees to achieve the required quality and production goals. Maintain department records and inventories Monitor to ensure that all employees comply with best time keeping practices and regularly monitor Tesla Track Ensure that standard operating procedures and engineering procedures are current, accurate and that all work is done in compliance to ensure maximum quality Monitor to ensure that all employees comply with safety regulations and the plant's safety program Work with employees to resolve technical and personnel problems Schedule employees to effectively meet production needs and to ensure vacation and other time off consistent with plant policies Provide the shift-to-shift communication link in order to keep all team members working toward the same goals Communicate to employees all issues that affect the plant and perform other duties as assigned by the Associate Manager What You'll Bring 3+ years in a leadership role managing direct reports 5+ years of experience in fast paced high volume manufacturing environment preferred Ability to meet deadlines and be accountable for quality/quantity Able to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities, establish and achieve goals Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and computer skills using Microsoft Office is a must Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekday and weekend overtime Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal Compensation and Benefits Benefits Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire: Medical plans > plan options with $0 payroll deduction Family-building, fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefits Dental (including orthodontic coverage) and vision plans, both have options with a $0 paycheck contribution Company Paid (Health Savings Accounts) HSA Contribution when enrolled in the High-Deductible medical plan with HSA Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) 401(k) with employer match, Employee Stock Purchase Plans, and other financial benefits Company paid Basic Life, AD&D Short-term and long-term disability insurance (90 day waiting period) Employee Assistance Program Sick and Vacation time (Flex time for salary positions, Accrued hours for Hourly positions), and Paid Holidays Back-up childcare and parenting support resources Voluntary benefits to include: critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, theft & legal services, and pet insurance Weight Loss and Tobacco Cessation Programs Tesla Babies program Commuter benefits Employee discounts and perks program Expected Compensation $86,400 - $129,600/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
