As we continue to grow our brand, our product portfolio, and our presence in the specialty food industry, we are seeking a hands-on Mill Operations Technician who shares our standards and can drive both the art and the science of world-class olive oil production. Mill Operations Technician The Mill Operations Technician keeps our mill running: running production, maintaining equipment, keeping the facility in order, and holding the line on food safety and compliance. It is hands-on work that takes judgment. You report to the Facility, Production, and Quality Assurance Manager and make the day-to-day calls on the floor.

Essential Functions:

Run the daily production schedule so we mill and pack a high-quality product Keep equipment serviced and running; handle routine repairs and call in outside service Oversee the proper storage and handling of all products Handle day-to-day maintenance and security of the facility, and keep the grounds, tools, and equipment in order Meet FDA, EPA, USDA, OSHA, and EEOC requirements; keep records ready for inspection Carry out our GFSI-recognized food safety program, including GMPs and preventive controls Track the mill against throughput, quality, and safety targets, and flag problems to the Manager early Spot improvement opportunities and help scope and install new equipment

Qualifications:

Hands-on experience in food, agricultural, or manufacturing production; food processing a plus Sound judgment — able to make the call on the floor and know when to escalate Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot, maintain, and service production equipment Familiarity with GFSI programs, GMPs, HACCP, and organic/food safety audits preferred Comfortable keeping records and basic reporting in Microsoft Office Clear communication with the Manager and the crew on the floor

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

• Strong work ethic and time management skills

Pay:

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
