Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Food Production Supervisor to lead our food manufacturing operations with enthusiasm and precision. In this vital role, you will oversee daily production activities, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and motivate your team to achieve operational excellence. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement initiatives, uphold food safety protocols, and maintain optimal productivity in a fast-paced environment. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily food production activities, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to production schedules Enforce strict compliance with FDA regulations, HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), and other regulatory standards Monitor quality standards in production, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective actions as needed Manage sanitation and safety standards in accordance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) to maintain a clean and safe working environment Oversee packaging operations, ensuring products meet quality assurance criteria and are properly labeled Utilize SAP (Systems Applications and Products) software for inventory management, production tracking, and reporting purposes Lead, train, and manage production teams to foster a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement Collaborate with quality assurance teams to uphold food safety management systems and implement process improvements Skills Extensive knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP principles, CGMP requirements, and food safety management practices Proven experience managing food production or manufacturing teams within the food & beverage industry Strong understanding of manufacturing management processes including sanitation, packaging, and quality assurance standards Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems for inventory control and production planning Excellent managerial communication skills to lead teams effectively and ensure regulatory/legal compliance standards are met Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory, measurements, and process adjustments Deep familiarity with food processing plant operations, safety standards in production, and continuous improvement methodologies Demonstrated ability to uphold quality standards in production environments while maintaining high safety standards
Pay:
$25.28 - $30.45 per hour
