Qualifications:

5+ years of hands-on powder coating experience, preferably in a metal fabrication environment. Supervisory or team lead experience preferred. Knowledge of surface preparation techniques, masking, and curing processes. Familiarity with safety standards, chemical handling, and powder coating equipment maintenance. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead daily powder coating operations, including preparation, masking, application, and curing of metal parts. Supervise and mentor a small team of coating technicians, providing guidance on process improvements and safety. Inspect finished products for quality, consistency, and adherence to customer specifications. Maintain and troubleshoot powder coating equipment, including spray guns, booths, and ovens. Coordinate workflow with production and fabrication teams to meet deadlines. Ensure compliance with safety protocols, chemical handling, and environmental regulations. Keep accurate records of production output, inventory, and maintenance logs.
