We offer a wide range of high-quality ingredients, including Natural Plant Extracts, Vitamins, Amino Acids, Pharmaceutical Intermediates, and other specialty products. Lipond is committed to delivering excellent customer service and reliable, timely supply solutions. We are expanding our operations to include contract packaging services (bottle filling, labeling, sealing, and kitting) for dietary supplement brand owners and business partners. We are currently seeking an experienced Production Supervisor/Manager to oversee our packaging line, manage a small team of 3-5 workers, and ensure high efficiency, quality compliance, and smooth daily execution. Candidates must be reliable, hands-on, willing to work long-term, and capable of coordinating with overseas equipment vendors and partners. A strong background in packaging machinery maintenance, mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, and FDA cGMP compliance for dietary supplements is required. Language English - required Chinese (Mandarin) - optional (for communication with overseas equipment vendors and internal teams) Work Location In person Job Overview Lipond International, Inc. is seeking a responsible, detail-oriented, and experienced Production Supervisor/Manager to manage daily contract packaging operations. This role involves supervising line operators, performing machinery setup and troubleshooting, executing line clearance and changeovers between different customer SKUs, maintaining Batch Packaging Records (BPR), and ensuring all processes strictly comply with FDA cGMP (21 CFR Part 111) and company quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities Line Supervision & Team Management :
Supervise and guide 3-5 packaging operators to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient daily production.
Packaging Operations & Changeovers :
Oversee packaging runs (capsule/tablet bottle filling, capping, induction sealing, labeling, and shrink wrapping). Perform line setups, line clearances, and rapid changeovers between different client SKUs.
Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting :
Monitor, calibrate, and maintain automatic packaging equipment. Perform hands-on troubleshooting and routine repairs to minimize downtime.
Vendor & Technical Coordination :
Coordinate with equipment suppliers and engineering teams (including technical support in China) regarding machinery setup, spare parts, and troubleshooting. c
GMP & Quality Compliance :
Ensure full compliance with FDA cGMP (21 CFR Part 111) regulations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety rules, and sanitation standards.
Documentation & Batch Records :
Maintain precise Batch Packaging Records (BPR), equipment logs, inventory tracking, and daily production reports.
Process Improvement :
Identify operational bottlenecks and implement workflow improvements to boost yield, reduce downtime, and improve packaging quality. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher preferred (technical, mechanical, or industrial background preferred).
Required Languages :
Bilingual fluency in English and Mandarin (optional).
Industry Experience :
2+ years of experience in packaging supervision, dietary supplement manufacturing, or contract packaging/toll manufacturing.
Regulatory Knowledge :
Solid understanding of FDA cGMP requirements (21 CFR Part 111) for dietary supplements, line clearance procedures, and batch packaging documentation.
Technical & Mechanical Skills :
Practical knowledge of packaging equipment (e.g., solid-dose tablet/capsule counters, bottle cappers, induction sealers, automated labelers, inkjet printers, or conveyor systems).
Leadership :
Hands-on problem solver with strong leadership skills and the ability to manage operators on the floor.
Reliability :
Strong commitment to long-term growth with the company.
