High‑Precision Manufacturing About the Role A high‑precision manufacturing facility in Richmond, CA is seeking a hands‑on, people‑focused Production Supervisor to lead and develop the 2nd Shift team. This role is essential in driving quality, safety, delivery, and continuous improvement within a clean, technical production environment that supports advanced gas and fluid control systems for high‑tech applications. You will oversee daily operations, coach and develop team members, champion Lean initiatives, and ensure production goals are consistently achieved. Key Responsibilities Lead, supervise, and develop 2nd Shift production team members and Leads Assign work, manage staffing levels, and ensure production schedules are met Drive continuous improvement through Lean, Kaizen, and waste‑reduction initiatives Ensure compliance with quality standards, work instructions, and process controls Partner with Engineering on new product introductions and process improvements Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and corrective action when needed Troubleshoot material flow, scheduling, and capacity issues Maintain a safe work environment through audits, investigations, and enforcement of safety policies Develop and maintain standardized work instructions and ensure process stability Build strong relationships across Production, Quality, Engineering, and Materials teams Qualifications High School Diploma or Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred 2-3 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or a related environment Demonstrated leadership ability with strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience in Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or Kaizen preferred Ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization Strong computer skills and familiarity with ERP/MRP systems Experience in high‑precision, quality‑critical manufacturing (semiconductor, medical device, aerospace, machining, etc.) is highly desirable Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Richmond, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $87000.00 - $110000.00/yr. omprehensive coverage for medical, prescription drugs, dental, vision, voluntary optional life, accident insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, and critical illness insurance with competitive premium costs. 401(k) plan with matching contributions at 100% of the first 5% of pay. Defined‑contribution retirement plan with an annual contribution equal to 3% of pay. Career development and tuition reimbursement.
