We are looking for an experienced Bakery Production Supervisor to lead our bakehouse team, balance artisanal quality with daily output, and keep our production running smoothly.
What You'll Do Lead Shift Operations:
Direct daily workflow across mixing, fermentation, shaping, proofing, and deck/rack oven baking.
Maintain Craft Quality:
Oversee sourdough starter care, dough hydration, fermentation times, and crust/crumb consistency.
Manage & Train:
Schedule shifts, train staff on hand-shaping and dough handling, and foster a collaborative environment.
Ensure Safety & Standards:
Enforce HACCP, GMP, and food safety protocols while maintaining clean facilities.
Control Inventory:
Track ingredient usage, minimize batch waste, and log daily production outputs.
What We Offer Competitive Salary:

Bakers, Mixers, Dough Shapers, Oven Operators, Packaging Staff Core Responsibilities Production Management:
Direct daily workflows across mixing, fermentation, shaping, proofing, and baking. Ensure shift yield targets meet order fulfillment schedules.
Artisanal Quality Control:
Monitor sourdough starter health, dough hydration, fermentation times, crust development, and crumb structure to enforce consistent quality.
Team Leadership & Training:
Schedule shift coverage, onboard new staff, and train team members on manual shaping techniques, dough handling, and oven operation.
Safety & Food Compliance:
Enforce
HACCP, GMP
(Good Manufacturing Practices), and OSHA standards. Lead daily cleaning routines and equipment safety audits.
Inventory & Resource Control:
Track flour, yeast, and dry ingredient usage. Minimize waste, log batch records, and report equipment maintenance needs promptly.
