Lead Welder AllSTEM Connections - 3.9 Santa Ana, CA Job Details Full-time $125,000 - $128,000 a year 11 hours ago Qualifications TIG welding Shop math Team development Attention to detail Mentoring Full Job Description Lead and offer daily support to the welding team Orient new team members; assist in assigning and reassigning tasks; assist in scheduling daily work assignments; and assist others on work procedures and ensuring the performance standards are met Assist supervisor in coaching, mentoring, and training team members Report status and issues to leadership Support leadership in de-escalation of conflict, following company policies, and setting/enforcing a high bar for quality and throughput Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to plan welding operations where procedural information is unavailable Make a continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround time, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly Performs other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment Proficient in various weld processes, GMAW, GTAW.
Experience welding various materials:
Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum. Ability to read, understand, and work with engineering drawings. Perform simple mathematics, be familiar with fractional and decimal measurements and effectively use and understand measuring devices. Be adept at performing Quality Control on finished products, ensuring that they meet specified performance standards and tolerances. Be detail oriented and have ability to fabricate quality parts/ structures within specified dimensional tolerances.
Pay:
$125,000.00 - $128,000.00 per year
