OVERVIEW OF POSITION
Oversee daily operations within the assigned work area to ensure efficient use of labor, adherence to quality standards, and achievement of operational goals.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Directs work area production personnel to include daily assignments, meetings, discipline, training, vacation scheduling, and time and attendance system accuracy. Working with leadership teams to ensure that schedules and quality standards are maintained. Works with Production Coordinators to ensure that planning and resources (materials and personnel) are available to support production. Assign tasks and explain procedures to personnel. Trains and guides operation personnel on assigned tasks. Identify resources needed to complete projects on time and within budget. Responsible for work area safety issues and housekeeping. Transfer personnel to other work areas depending on project requirements per leadership team's request. Maximizes labor efficiency and productivity. SKILLS

EDUCATION
Requires an associate degree or its equivalent with 2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field. Strong supervisory skills. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and team orientation. Have good computer and communication skills.
