Responsibilities We Trust You With:
Oversee the production process looking for ways to improve efficiencies, meeting all production quotas and deadlines Assign work, analyze productivity, workflow, methods and procedures, making recommendations to management as appropriate Enforce all company policies and plant rules, to include but not limited to problem solving, development & implementation of standard operating procedures Completes production labor schedule by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules to minimize OT; resolving problems; reporting results of the shift production daily Maintains working relationship with the union by following the terms of the collective bargaining agreement where applicable Responsible to meet all food safety, quality and customer requirements for this position What You Must Know |
Education and Experience:
4 year degree or equivalent work experience in a high speed manufacturing environment, preferably consumer packaged goods Minimum 2 - 4 years experience supervisory experience in a fast paced consumer packaged goods environment Better Process School (will provide) Computer skills Self-motivation and safety awareness.
