Client near Visalia, CA is seeking to find a Production Manager! Direct Hire opportunity!
Key Responsibilities Operational Oversight:
Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations, including processing, packing, and quality control.
Production Planning:
Develop, implement, and monitor production schedules to meet customer demands, maximizing efficiency and reducing waste.
Quality & Safety Compliance:
Ensure all products meet company and regulatory standards (USDA, FDA, GMPs, HACCP, FSSC 22000).
Team Leadership:
Supervise, train, and motivate production staff to achieve performance goals.
Resource Management:
Manage inventory levels and coordinate equipment maintenance to prevent delays.
Reporting:
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on production rates and performance. Qualifications Several years of experience in food manufacturing or a similar production environment. Proven leadership skills, with the ability to manage teams and resolve operational issues. Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality control systems. Proficiency in computer systems (e.g., ERP software) and reporting. Required Skills Excellent communication and decision-making skills. Analytical skills to analyze production rates and identify bottlenecks. Strong organizational skills to manage resources and schedules efficiently.
