35-bed Subacute Unit 24-bedSkilled Nursing Unit Location:
35253 Ave H. Yucaipa, CA. 92399Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily dietary department operations. Lead, train, and schedule dietary staff. Ensure meals are prepared and served according to resident's prescribed diets and preferences. Maintain compliance with California Department of Public Health (CDPH), CMS, food safety, and sanitation requirements. Work closely with Nursing, Activities, Social Services, and the interdisciplinary team. Monitor food quality, portion control, temperatures, sanitation, and meal service. Maintain accurate dietary records and documentation. Assist with menu planning and therapeutic diets. Manage inventory, ordering, and food costs. Participate in surveys, audits, and quality assurance activities. Address resident concerns and ensure excellent customer service. Shift time varies (8-hour shifts as a salaried employee)Qualifications:
Previous dietary/food service supervisory experience, preferably in a SNF, subacute, hospital, or healthcare setting. Knowledge of therapeutic and modified diets. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations. Ability to work effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members. ServSafe certification. DSS certification. Previous long-term care experience strongly preferred.What We Offer:
