GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Coordinate site operations, direct Jr. Foreman and oversee all workers on assigned project. Be the point of contact for workers, supervisors, and customers. You must be well organized and favor safety above all else.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Highly disciplined and attention to detail.
  • Full understanding and ability to read plans, complete layout and perform surveying tasks.
  • Ability to coordinate daily operations in conjunction with subcontractors.
  • Well organized with the ability to show initiative and lead crews of 6 or more workers.
  • Willing to work and stay out of town for construction projects
  • Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans.
  • Able to plan and forecast two week look ahead schedule to Superintendent and Project Manager
  • Responsible for daily reports to include timecards, quantities, project photos and diaries.
  • Monitor crew attendance and work.
  • Delegate daily responsibilities and tasks.
  • Train workers and operators.
  • Insure that resources and equipment are available for daily scheduled task.
  • Responsibility for all safety policies and procedures as well as DRA's.
  • Supervise the use of tools and equipment.
  • Ability to resolve personnel or project issues.
  • Report progress to project superintendent and customers
  • Knowledgeable in concrete forming, pouring, reinforcing installation and backfill operations as well as structure rehabilitation.
  • Will conduct employee reviews for all persons reporting directly to you
  • Any additional duties or responsibilities as position/company management requires
MINOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Understand and know how to use word and excel programs
  • Collect, code and submit all daily invoices to the office.
  • In absence of Superintendent, perform other project duties including but not limited to the roles and responsibilities of a Project Superintendent.
  • Insure all equipment on project site are fueled, greased, and any damages/repairs are reports to Shop Foreman.
  • Attend weekly progress meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Proven experience as a construction foreman
  • Full knowledge and understanding of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to communicate and report effectively
  • Critical thinking abilities
  • Aptitude in math
  • Possess a strong desire to work safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a minimum of OSHA 10 Training
  • Have or will acquire Class A CDL
  • First Aid and
CPR WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Out of town travel is required
  • Overtime as required
  • Work is performed in outdoor settings, which could include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and other debris.
  • Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Use of Personal Protective Equipment is required.
  • Must comply with the company's drug and alcohol testing requirements.
