We specialize in structural steel, miscellaneous steel, architectural/ornamental steel, railings, stairs, and custom fabrication. We are looking for an experienced Shop Foreman to join our team and take a leadership role in our fabrication shop. This is a hands-on position for someone who knows steel fabrication, can read plans and shop drawings, understands welding and fabrication processes, and can keep a shop moving efficiently. What You'll Do Lead and supervise daily operations in our steel fabrication shop Assign work to shop employees and keep projects moving according to schedule Read and interpret shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and project plans Oversee structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication Ensure work is fabricated accurately and according to project specifications Inspect completed work for quality, fit, dimensions, and workmanship Help troubleshoot fabrication and production issues Coordinate with project management and field crews as needed Maintain an organized, safe, and productive shop Monitor material usage and help minimize waste Ensure employees are following proper safety procedures Train and mentor less-experienced employees Work alongside the crew when needed — this is a hands-on position What We're Looking For 3+ years of experience in steel fabrication Previous shop leadership or foreman experience preferred Strong knowledge of structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication Ability to read and understand shop drawings and plans Strong welding and fabrication skills Ability to measure accurately and understand fabrication dimensions Ability to prioritize work and keep employees productive Strong communication and leadership skills Reliable, accountable, and willing to take ownership of the work Valid Colorado driver's license with a clean/non-restricted driving record What We Offer $30-$35 per hour DOE Yearly vacation Sick time 401(k) with employer match Boot allowance Stable, year-round work Locally owned company Opportunity for long-term growth About Front Range Industrial We are a small, fast-paced company where quality workmanship and getting the job done right matter.
