A Production Plant Foreman works with the Plant Manager or Supervisor in scheduling the activities of the employees and team leaders. Meets regularly with the team leaders to communicate anticipated production sequences, to discuss potential production problems, and to provide opportunity for input on improvement of work processes and work flow. Assist in assuring quality and safety of production procedures.

Job Description

We are the leading manufacturer of football and lacrosse training equipment and we are looking for talented shop foreman for a metal fabrication factory. Must have a strong background and extensive knowledge of welding, bending, shearing and machining. Proven track record of increasing production efficiency while implementing automation and robotics. Strong leadership skills and experience managing production teams. Proven ability to do the following:
  • Plan and schedule workflow to get orders shipped on time.
  • Supervise and manage all aspects of metal fabrication.
  • Conduct quality inspections to ensure compliance with product specifications and quality standards.
  • Oversee raw material procurement and track inventory with an eye toward minimizing waste and maximizing productivity.
  • Responsible for implementing strict compliance with all federal and state safety regulations to insure a safe working environment.

$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
