Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:
Seeking a Shift Supervisor (Lead Plant Operator) to oversee the daily operations of the plant in Bridgeport, CT. Responsible for ensuring the implementation of the Operating Plan, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and reliability requirements. Key focus on driving revenue goals through optimal output.
Key Responsibilities:
Promote a safe work environment, direct and coach Plant Operators, set priorities for maintenance, maximize electrical outputs, oversee operational activities, report abnormal plant conditions, and ensure compliance with operational standards. Additional responsibilities include human resources issues, training operators, reporting to management, maintaining operation manuals, and supporting inventory management. Experience & Skills Seeking candidates with five or more years of power plant experience, three or more years of combined cycle experience, formal training, gas turbine operations experience, and supervisory experience. Strong communication, computer skills, and self-motivation are essential. . Knowledge, Abilities, Qualifications & Requirements This role involves shift work, overtime, on-call availability, and compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Must have a strong understanding of plant operations, ability to work independently or in a team, and meet physical requirements. United States citizenship or eligibility to work in the U.S. is required.
