This hands-on leadership role combines supervising the team, actively running machines, programming CNC/conventional equipment, and ensuring safe, efficient, high-quality production of aerospace components. This position also requires overtime as needed to meet production goals. If you are highly motivated, detail-oriented, and ready to step into a critical leadership role, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate machinists and technicians to meet production schedules Ensure compliance with quality standards (AS9100/FAA & OSHA) and safety protocols Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and training Oversee CNC and conventional machine operations, including programming, setup and troubleshooting Collaborate with Operations Manager and Production Planner to optimize workflow Implement process improvements, SOPs, and lean manufacturing initiatives Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs)
Qualifications Required:
5+ years of experience in precision machining in aerospace Proven leadership/supervisory experience Hands-on experience with CNC and conventional machines including programming Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation Familiarity with quality control processes and precision measuring tools Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
Preferred:
Associate's degree or technical training in manufacturing/engineering Lean manufacturing experience (5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma) ERP system experience (e.g., JobBOSS²) Knowledge of AS9100 and OSHA compliance preferred Physical Requirements Ability to stand/walk for extended periods Lift/move up to 60 lbs occasionally Comfortable in a manufacturing environment with machinery and noise Willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed Why Join Us Lead a skilled team while remaining hands-on in production Program and operate advanced CNC/conventional machinery Immediate start available Make a tangible impact on production efficiency, quality, and safety Apply Today - Immediate Start Available!
