Job Description

Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Food Production Supervisor to lead our night shift operations in a dynamic food processing environment. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily manufacturing activities, ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards, and motivating a dedicated team to achieve production goals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food industry regulations, manufacturing management, and safety standards, driving continuous improvement while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient production floor. Duties Supervise night shift food production activities, ensuring adherence to FDA regulations, HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), and other regulatory standards. Coordinate daily manufacturing operations, including packaging, sanitation, and food processing tasks to meet production targets. Monitor and enforce safety standards in production areas, conducting regular safety audits and promoting a culture of food safety and sanitation. Lead, train, and motivate team members to uphold quality assurance practices and ensure compliance with all regulatory/legal standards in food production. Oversee equipment operation and mechanical troubleshooting, collaborating with maintenance teams to minimize downtime. Conduct quality checks throughout the production process, ensuring products meet company specifications and food safety requirements. Maintain accurate documentation of production records, safety reports, sanitation logs, and incident reports for regulatory compliance. Qualifications Proven experience in food processing plant management or manufacturing supervision within the food industry. Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP principles, CGMP practices, and food safety management systems. Familiarity with safety standards in production environments, sanitation procedures, and quality assurance protocols. Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing equipment and troubleshooting skills. Ability to operate basic math calculations accurately for inventory and quality control purposes. Valid forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment preferred. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively during night shifts while fostering a positive work environment.
