Job Description
Job Summary TMF Plastics is hiring a Production manager for our Bradenton facility. Experience in injection and blow molding is a plus. We are and ESOP company. Oversee Manufacturing operations during your assigned 3rd shift 11:45pm-8:00am Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities Oversee the Complete Molding Operation. Maintain processes of Molding Machines for sustainable quality parts Routine Visual Inspection of Product Routine Interaction with Quality Departments to Maintain Quality Standards and Assist in Any and All Corrective Actions within the Manufacturing Process Routine Review of Manufacturing via Efficiencies and Labor Utilization Continuous Review of the Production Floor Training of Personnel to Improve Technical Abilities of Staff with our Current Processes and Equipment Maintain Documentation of the Production systems Maintain CGMP Standards. Continuous Improvement on the Production Floor for 5S and Lean Manufacturing To assist all Departments with the goal of Maintaining Uptime of the Molding Machines To work within all the guidelines as specified by Company Policies. Teamwork with all Support Groups Demonstrate a Positive, Proactive Attitude To assist in all activities as instructed that are within your Physical Capabilities Education and Experience Understanding of Automation concepts and Lean Manufacturing Understanding of Material Types Understanding of Basic and Advanced Molding Techniques Understanding of an Injection Molding Machine and its functions Strong Mechanical Aptitude Basic Math Comprehension Key Competencies Time Management Basic Pneumatic, Hydraulic and Electrical Connections § Knowledge of Manufacturing Techniques and Efficiencies § Knowledge of Injection Molding Machinery § Knowledge of Injection Mold Operation §
Basic Molding Principles Physical Requirements:
- Push, Pull and or Lift 50 lbs.
- Able to Twist and Turn while lifting 25 lbs.
- Able to Stand Continually for a period of no less than 3 hours
- Ability to work on Press, Inside of Press, Under Press for Installation of Molds, Cleaning of Molds, Containment of Parts, General PM and any other activities that may require attention during a Production Shift.
