Responsibilities Include:
Supports the Respiratory Care Manager in a supervisory capacity, managing team member and patient care issues as well as physician concerns. Assists the manager with hiring, performance review, coaching, counseling and termination. Responsible for ensuring adequate staffing, team member competency and policy review. Ensures regulatory requirements are met and establishes goals for process improvement. Acts as a role model for others Reports to a Manager over multiple departments or multiple campuses. Has greater than 10 direct reports. Performs other duties as assigned.
Certifications and Licensures Required:
RRT (Respiratory Therapy License) Active NBRC Credential for RRT CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) NRP (Neonatal)
  • within 6 months ACLS (Cardiovascular)
  • within 6 months PALS (Pediatric)
  • Preferred Education Required:
    Technical Respiratory Therapy Associate's Respiratory Therapy
Preferred Experience Required:
Acute Care /
Respiratory Specific Skills Required:
NICU and Pediatric experience is preferred.
