• Well established tree service with steady, year round work, is looking for someone who has experience driving bucket and/or grapple truck with experience in the tree care industry.

• Qualifications:

• Knowledge of:

• Truck operation and general safety procedures.
• Some experience in tree services highly desireable.
• Ability to:
• Operate a variety of hand tools and power equipment used in caring for trees
• Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time in unfavorable weather conditions
• Perform heavy manual labor
• Understand and follow oral and written instructions
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted during work
• Education and Experience
• Guidelines
• Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying

• Required:

• Valid drivers license, reliable transportation.

• Duties:

• Using your CDL B or A certification to follow DOT guidelines, support the tree crews in chipping and removal as required.
• Maintain trees for public safety by performing tree pruning and tree removal functions; remove dead and damaged limbs and trees
• Perform brush chipping and stump grinding
• Perform traffic control to ensure safety of cars, pedestrians and tree crew in traffic areas
• Respond to emergency calls regarding fallen trees or limbs
