Full-Time Position Overview GL Staffing is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Shift Supervisor for a direct hire opportunity with a leading manufacturing company in Davie, Florida. This position is responsible for overseeing daily production operations, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and compliance with company policies while leading a team of manufacturing employees in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong supervisory experience in manufacturing, preferably within a regulated environment such as pharmaceutical, food, nutraceutical, or consumer products manufacturing. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure production goals are achieved. Lead, coach, and motivate production employees to maximize productivity and maintain high performance. Monitor production schedules and ensure orders are completed accurately and on time. Enforce compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety regulations, and quality standards. Perform routine inspections to ensure equipment, workstations, and employees comply with company policies. Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process and address any quality concerns promptly. Coordinate staffing assignments and manage employee attendance, performance, and productivity. Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching and development for production staff. Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Warehouse, and other departments to support efficient operations. Assist in identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and process optimization. Maintain production reports, shift documentation, and performance records. Ensure a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing environment. Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. Previous experience leading production teams in a fast-paced operation. Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and workplace safety standards. Experience with production scheduling, workflow coordination, and quality control. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to motivate teams and effectively manage employee performance. Proficient with Microsoft Office and production reporting systems. High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree is a plus. Preferred Qualifications Experience in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, food manufacturing, or other regulated industries. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
