Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Factory Supervisor to lead and oversee daily manufacturing operations within our production facility. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily factory activities, ensuring smooth workflow across assembly lines and production stations. Manage and motivate production teams, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Ensure adherence to safety protocols, safety standards, and OSHA regulations to maintain a secure working environment. Interpret production documents, technical drawings, and work instructions to facilitate accurate assembly and manufacturing processes. Utilize measuring instruments, hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment to support manufacturing tasks efficiently. Implement process improvements using lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste, increase productivity, and enhance product quality. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment; coordinate maintenance or repairs as needed to minimize downtime. Enforce safety standards in production areas through manual handling procedures and safety protocol adherence. Oversee the proper use of forklifts and other material handling equipment for inventory movement and storage. Monitor production output against targets; analyze data to identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies for continuous improvement initiatives. Skills Proven experience in factory or manufacturing facility management with a strong understanding of production workflows. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and operate measuring instruments accurately. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and other heavy machinery essential for manufacturing tasks. Extensive assembly line experience with a focus on mechanical assembly processes. Strong leadership skills managing production or assembly teams while promoting safety standards in accordance with industry regulations. Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques and process improvement strategies to optimize operations. Ability to interpret technical documentation accurately while maintaining high attention to detail. Familiarity with manufacturing management systems for tracking production data and documentation compliance. Excellent manual handling skills with an emphasis on safety protocol adherence during heavy lifting or repetitive tasks.
