Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor 2nd shift to oversee daily warehouse operations within a fast-paced pet products manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for supervising warehouse associates, ensuring inventory accuracy, maintaining safety and quality standards, and supporting efficient shipping, receiving, and production operations. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience in manufacturing and warehouse operations who can help drive productivity, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities/Essential Job Duties:
  • Supervise and lead warehouse team members during assigned shift operations.
  • Coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, shipping, inventory control, and material handling.
  • Ensure all products are stored, handled, and shipped accurately and efficiently.
  • Monitor employee productivity, attendance, and performance while promoting a positive team environment.
  • Train, coach, and develop warehouse associates on company procedures, safety standards, and equipment operation.
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations, GMP standards, company policies, and safety procedures.
  • Conduct routine inventory cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation.
  • Work closely with Production, Quality, and Transportation teams to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Ensure warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks are operated safely and properly.
  • Assist in scheduling labor and assigning daily tasks based on operational needs.
  • Investigate and report any safety incidents, damages, or operational concerns.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce errors.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization in accordance with company standards.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of warehouse supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in food manufacturing, pet products manufacturing, or consumer packaged goods preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Experience operating warehouse equipment including stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners.
  • Working knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and email communication.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to possesses the ability to do the following:
  • Frequent sitting, computer use, phone communication, and occasional walking through production or warehouse areas.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
  • Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures and manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment as needed.
  • Occasional meetings in manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Pay:
$23.50 - $24.50 per hour
