COMANCO Earthwork We are seeking an experienced Earthwork Foreman specializing in running crews to oversee and manage our projects effectively. This role involves traveling to various construction sites and ensuring that projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with company goals and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Supervise and manage dirt crew operations, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety protocols.
Safety Oversight:
Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring proper use of safety equipment and adherence to safety audits. Keep detailed records of safety practices and compliance.
Quality Control:
Oversee and assist Quality Control Technicians as needed. Maintain meticulous documentation of installation processes and testing to meet company and project standards.
Crew Supervision:
Train, direct, and manage crew members. Prioritize tasks effectively to ensure timely and compliant completion of work.
Schedule and Budget Management:
Drive project schedules by efficiently managing manpower, tools, and equipment. Understand and work within project budgets, striving to exceed budget expectations.
Contract Management:
Understand project contracts, specifications, and drawings. Recognize and notify the Superintendent of any changes in scope or contract specifications.
Communication:
Keep the Project Manager and Superintendent informed about project progress and any significant details. Complete and submit required paperwork in a timely manner.
Documentation:
Accurately code and submit timesheets daily with the correct job number and phase code. Report accidents immediately and maintain organized, detailed records.
Equipment Maintenance:
Take responsibility for the upkeep and proper maintenance of equipment and vehicles assigned to the project. Prevent misuse or abuse of company assets.
Education and Experience:
