Job Description
Kellanova is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead Production & Operations in our manufacturing facility. You will oversee daily plant activities, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity targets are met while optimizing schedules, materials, and staffing. Partner with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement, reduce waste, and resolve production issues. You'll coach and develop front-line employees, monitor KPIs, enforce food safety and compliance standards, and support capital or process improvement projects in a fast-paced, inclusive, and performance-driven culture. Responsibilities Supervise daily manufacturing operations for assigned production lines or area Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and quality standards and procedures Plan and coordinate labor, materials, and equipment to meet production schedules Monitor and analyze KPIs (throughput, OEE, scrap, downtime) and drive improvements Lead and coach front-line team members, providing training, feedback, and performance management Investigate and resolve production issues, coordinating with maintenance and quality Support and lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5 S, root cause analysis) Maintain accurate production, safety, and compliance documentation and reports Collaborate with planning, engineering, and logistics to optimize plant performance Champion Kellanova's inclusive, values-driven culture on the shop floor Required Skills Production planning and scheduling Lean manufacturing principles Root cause analysis and problem solving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) monitoring Food safety and quality systems (HACCP, GMP) Supervisory and team leadership Data analysis and KPI tracking ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP) Continuous improvement/Kaizen Safety and regulatory compliance in manufacturing
