The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in food processing or manufacturing, and a solid understanding of food safety and quality standards. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required to effectively communicate with a diverse production team. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily food production activities to ensure safety, sanitation, quality, and productivity standards are consistently met. Ensure production activities comply with FDA regulations, HACCP, CGMP, and GMP guidelines . Lead, train, and support production employees by providing clear direction and ongoing coaching. Monitor employee performance and help maintain a productive, efficient, and positive work environment. Monitor compliance with food safety management systems and established company procedures. Oversee packaging operations to ensure products meet quality standards while minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency. Work closely with Quality Assurance to address production and quality issues and support continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure sanitation procedures are properly followed and the production area remains clean and compliant with food safety standards. Assist with production documentation, measurements, process controls, and other required records. Use computer systems, including Microsoft Excel , to track and document production information. Requirements Previous experience in a food processing plant, food manufacturing, or food & beverage production environment . Working knowledge of FDA regulations, GMP, CGMP, HACCP , and food safety practices. Previous experience leading or supervising production, assembly, or manufacturing teams. Knowledge of food production, packaging, quality standards, sanitation, and regulatory compliance. Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to effectively direct and motivate employees. Bilingual in English and Spanish. Basic math skills for measurements, production documentation, and process control. Basic to intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Excel . Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety, quality, and productivity. #
