A Manufacturing Production Supervisor supervises workers and production schedules, monitors supplies, and oversees quality assurance at a manufacturing facility or plant.
We are a rapidly growing 3PL and electronics repair company in Atlanta, GA with an immediate need for a Production Supervisor for our Test, Refurbishment and Repair Department. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in manufacturing of electronic parts and systems.

Reporting to the VP of Operations, the Manufacturing Supervisor will handle the following responsibilities: Achieving production objectives by effective scheduling and assigning production personnel, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, resolving problems; Daily reporting of the production status, escalating issues and recommends solution to the VP of Operations; Lead daily operations and continuous improvements which include but are not limited to: production timelines, quality, inventory, operational safety, and cost Monitor the conditions of the work area in regard to organization, cleanliness, and safety Reduce operational cost, inventories, and lead times through continuous improvements Promote awareness of ESD protection, controls the compliance of the production personnel to ESD procedures; Participate in process improvement initiatives Coordinates training of all production personnel Participate in employee hiring, development, disciplining and quarterly performance reviews Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum of 5 years' supervisory experience in manufacturing of electronics with a very stable work history Knowledge of various manufacturing processes: mechanical and electronics assembly, painting, etc. Understanding of work flows Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies Working experience of ESD protection Experience with MRP systems Written and verbal communication skills Microsoft Office Suite Understanding of ISO9001 standard Understanding of IPC standards Understanding of safety standards applicable the work environment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
