Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead daily operations in a fast-paced production environment. This position is responsible for driving production performance, maintaining safety and quality standards, and leading a team to achieve operational goals. We are looking for a supervisor who leads with fairness, consistency, and accountability. The successful candidate will be able to set clear expectations, communicate effectively, make sound decisions, and foster a team-oriented work environment while delivering results. This role requires strong leadership, good judgment, and the ability to adapt in a demanding production setting. Key Responsibilities Production & Operations Lead daily production activities to achieve safety, quality, and production goals. Manage staffing assignments and labor utilization to meet operational demands. Monitor workflow and address production issues to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency. Communicate production priorities and expectations throughout the shift. Ensure customer requirements and shipping deadlines are met. Coordinate with leadership and support departments to resolve operational challenges. Assist production activities when necessary to support the team and maintain workflow. Team Leadership Supervise, coach, and develop production employees. Establish clear expectations and hold employees accountable for performance, attendance, safety, and quality standards. Address employee concerns and disciplinary matters professionally and consistently. Train and onboard new employees while supporting ongoing workforce development. Promote a workplace built on teamwork, respect, and accountability. Safety & Quality Maintain compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and Standard Work Practices. Ensure adherence to quality standards and customer specifications. Lead housekeeping and 6S efforts throughout the facility. Identify and address quality, safety, and operational concerns in a timely manner. Conduct routine inspections to maintain a safe and productive work environment. Administrative Responsibilities Complete required production reports and operational documentation. Review employee time records and communicate discrepancies as needed. Maintain training, safety, and production records. Support inventory accuracy through routine monitoring and reporting. Qualifications Previous supervisory experience in manufacturing, production, warehousing, logistics, recycling, wood products, or other industrial environments. Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced operation. Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Experience managing employee performance and accountability. Working knowledge of safety, quality, and production processes. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications. Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and off-shift hours when necessary. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
