We are looking for an experienced Sheet Extrusion Supervisor who can provide strong leadership, drive production performance, troubleshoot equipment and process issues, and effectively manage employees across a 24/7 manufacturing operation. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who understands plastic sheet extrusion and knows how to get the most out of both the equipment and the team.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Extrusion Supervisor will oversee daily extrusion operations and lead production employees to ensure that production goals, quality standards, safety expectations, and efficiency targets are consistently met. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated plastic sheet extrusion experience, proven supervisory or management experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, continuously operating manufacturing environment. The successful candidate must be able to identify and resolve production and equipment issues, make sound decisions under pressure, communicate effectively with employees and management, and continuously look for ways to improve productivity and product quality. Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are a huge plus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise and lead extrusion production employees across a 24/7 operation. Coordinate staffing and production activities to maintain continuous operation. Drive production toward the highest achievable levels of productivity and efficiency. Monitor production output, quality, downtime, scrap, and overall equipment performance. Ensure plastic sheet products meet established quality specifications and customer requirements. Troubleshoot extrusion processes and equipment issues and work with maintenance to resolve problems quickly. Identify production problems and implement effective solutions. Monitor and adjust extrusion processes as needed to maintain consistent product quality. Train, coach, and develop employees on proper production procedures, equipment operation, quality standards, and safety requirements. Hold employees accountable for attendance, punctuality, performance, productivity, quality, and adherence to company policies. Communicate effectively with employees on all shifts and with company management. Maintain accurate production records and communicate important production issues and updates. Help identify opportunities to reduce downtime, waste, scrap, and production inefficiencies. Ensure employees follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Respond appropriately to unexpected production issues, staffing challenges, equipment problems, and changing priorities. Work closely with management to meet production schedules and company goals. Maintain a professional, positive, and productive work environment. Perform other duties as needed to support the company's manufacturing operations.
