- Provide leadership for genset and power module production operations supporting a complex manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities include:
Leading production operations within a high-velocity manufacturing environment. Driving safety performance and fostering a safety-first culture throughout the organization. Managing competing priorities related to safety, quality, productivity, and cost. Leading employee development activities and performance management processes. Resolving day-to-day operational escalations and manufacturing challenges. Supporting lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. Overseeing genset and power module production operations.; emphasis on NPI operational support (i.e headcount, capacity planning, etc...) Degree Requirement Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.What Skills You Will Have Production Training:
Extensive knowledge of approaches, tools and techniques for delivering formal and informal training on the safe and efficient operation of production machinery; ability to conduct effective formal and situation-specific training.Problem Solving:
Extensive knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situationsInfluencing:
Extensive knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.Flexibility and Adaptability:
Extensive knowledge of successful approaches and techniques for dealing with change; ability to adapt to a changing environment and be comfortable with change.Performance Management:
Extensive knowledge of successful performance management techniques; ability to apply organization's performance management system, practices, and tools to developing and improving individual, team, and organizational performance.Analytical Thinking:
Extensive knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.Planning and Organizing:
Extensive knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way.Effective Communications:

Extensive understanding of the techniques and skills needed to lead in the production environment; with the demonstrated ability to develop talent using performance management techniques Top Candidates Will Also Have Experiences as a leader of leaders; specifically in cross-functional teams with support staff Manufacturing experience in the product producing environment; preference for heavy equipment, automotive, aerospace, rail, or other closely related industries.
