Elevate Operating Solutions (EOS) is seeking an experienced Production Control Supervisor to provide daily leadership, coordination, and operational support for the Production Control function at our Jackson, Georgia manufacturing facility. The Production Control Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that daily production schedules and priorities are accurately communicated, monitored, and adjusted to support customer requirements, production objectives, material availability, inventory targets, and on-time delivery. This role provides direct supervision to Production Control Planners, Schedulers, Coordinators, and other assigned employees while coordinating closely with Production, Materials, Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Logistics, and Production Control management. The Supervisor will play a key role in production planning and scheduling, material and capacity coordination, production-order management, inventory monitoring, customer-delivery support, production recovery, shift-to-shift communication, and the accurate use of SAP, MES, ERP/MRP, and other production-control systems . The successful candidate must be able to operate effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, respond quickly to changing production conditions, and provide hands-on leadership to ensure production and customer requirements are consistently supported. Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Control Leadership Provide daily leadership, direction, coaching, and support to Production Control personnel. Directly supervise Production Control Planners, Schedulers, Coordinators, and other assigned employees. Lead by example and promote accountability, teamwork, communication, accuracy, responsiveness, customer service, and continuous improvement. Develop weekly team schedules to ensure appropriate staffing and departmental coverage. Coordinate employee breaks, lunches, overtime, and other scheduled activities as required. Monitor employee attendance and communicate staffing concerns to Production Control management. Assist with employee evaluations and provide ongoing feedback regarding performance, attendance, productivity, quality, and teamwork. Recognize strong performance and address performance concerns promptly and professionally. Identify employee training needs and communicate development requirements to management. Ensure employees are properly trained in
SAP, MES, ERP/MRP
systems, production scheduling, customer requirements, and departmental procedures. Support cross-training initiatives to improve departmental flexibility and coverage. Serve as a resource and process expert for Production Control employees. Assist employees with questions regarding schedules, production orders, system transactions, material requirements, and customer priorities. Production Planning & Scheduling Coordinate daily production planning and scheduling activities based on customer requirements and manufacturing capacity. Review production schedules and ensure production priorities are communicated accurately and timely. Monitor customer orders, forecasts, releases, schedules, and delivery requirements. Ensure production schedules support customer delivery commitments. Monitor actual production performance against planned production. Identify schedule deviations and communicate concerns to the Production Control Manager and affected departments. Coordinate daily production priorities with Production Supervisors and Managers. Adjust production schedules as needed based on equipment failures, maintenance activities, quality issues, material shortages, labor constraints, and other production conditions. Coordinate production recovery plans following equipment downtime and other operational disruptions. Ensure customer expedites and urgent production requirements are properly communicated and prioritized. Maintain effective communication between Production Control and Production. Maintain effective communication between Production Control shifts. Ensure effective shift handoffs regarding schedules, customer priorities, shortages, production performance, system issues, and outstanding actions. Conduct daily or shift Production Control meetings as required. Capacity & Production Flow Monitor production capacity, labor availability, equipment availability, and production constraints. Identify potential production bottlenecks and communicate risks before they negatively affect customer delivery. Support production-capacity planning and line-balancing activities. Monitor production lead times and identify opportunities to improve production flow. Assist with production-flow improvement activities. Coordinate production priorities during equipment downtime, material shortages, quality holds, labor shortages, and other disruptions. Identify recurring scheduling and production issues and participate in developing corrective actions. Develop recommendations to improve production flow, schedule attainment, productivity, inventory performance, and customer delivery. Material & Inventory Coordination Coordinate with Materials to ensure required raw materials, components, packaging, and other production requirements are available. Monitor material shortages and communicate potential production impacts. Coordinate shortage-recovery plans with Materials, Purchasing, Production, and Production Control management. Work with Purchasing regarding supplier shortages, late deliveries, and material-availability concerns as directed. Monitor WIP inventory and communicate abnormal inventory levels. Support inventory-control and inventory-reduction initiatives. Coordinate with Materials regarding raw materials, WIP, finished goods, and material availability. Monitor finished-goods inventory against customer requirements. Identify potential customer shortages and communicate them to the Production Control Manager. Maintain awareness of material requirements and potential inventory risks affecting scheduled production.
SAP, MES & ERP/MRP
Responsibilities Ensure production-control systems are used accurately and updated in a timely manner. Monitor production orders and ensure orders are properly released and scheduled. Verify production orders contain accurate part numbers, quantities, revisions, and required completion dates. Monitor production-order status and aging. Ensure production orders are completed and closed according to established procedures. Ensure production transactions are entered accurately and timely within ERP/MRP systems. Utilize SAP to monitor and manage production orders, material requirements, inventory information, production confirmations, and applicable production-control transactions. Utilize MES to monitor production status, production quantities, production orders, downtime, scrap, process information, and production performance. Compare SAP, MES, production reports, and actual production activity to identify discrepancies. Escalate SAP or MES data issues that could affect production planning, inventory, customer delivery, or reporting. Maintain accurate and timely production-control information. Customer Delivery & Logistics Monitor customer delivery requirements and identify potential risks. Escalate potential customer-delivery concerns to Production Control management. Ensure customer expedites and urgent production requirements are appropriately prioritized. Coordinate with Logistics regarding finished-goods availability and shipping priorities. Support achievement of on-time customer delivery requirements. Communicate customer priorities, schedule changes, shortages, and recovery plans to appropriate departments. Help ensure production schedules remain aligned with customer requirements.

Equipment Downtime & Production Recovery Coordinate with Maintenance regarding equipment downtime and its effect on production schedules. Adjust production schedules appropriately following equipment failures and maintenance activities. Coordinate production-recovery activities following significant downtime or other disruptions. Communicate equipment downtime and recovery requirements to affected departments. Support planned shutdowns, holidays, preventive-maintenance activities, and other events affecting production capacity. Escalate significant production, material, inventory, customer, staffing, scheduling, or system-related issues to Production Control management. New Products & Engineering Changes Coordinate with Engineering regarding engineering changes, new products, process changes, trials, and validation requirements. Support new-product launches and production transfers. Coordinate Production Control requirements associated with engineering changes and new programs. Help ensure production schedules and material availability support required trials, launches, and manufacturing changes. Reporting & Performance Management Prepare daily, weekly, and other Production Control reports as required.

Support customer, internal, regulatory, and third-party audits as required. Provide schedules, reports, system information, and Production Control documentation during audits. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve productivity, production flow, inventory performance, schedule attainment, communication, system accuracy, and customer service. Education & Experience Equivalent manufacturing or Production Control experience may be considered in place of formal education. Demonstrated experience leading employees in a manufacturing or Production Control environment. Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling. Experience managing or working with customer schedules, forecasts, releases, and delivery requirements. Experience with production-capacity planning and production-flow management. Experience with inventory control and material requirements planning. Experience analyzing production KPIs, schedule attainment, inventory, WIP, downtime, scrap, and on-time delivery performance. Preferred Qualifications Associate degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Manufacturing, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field. 3-7 years of progressive experience in Production Control, Production Planning, Scheduling, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing Operations. 2-4 years of experience as a Team Leader, Lead Planner, Production Control Coordinator, Supervisor, or similar leadership position. SAP experience , particularly with production orders, production planning, inventory, material requirements, and manufacturing transactions. MES experience , particularly with production tracking, production reporting, downtime monitoring, scrap reporting, traceability, and production performance. Automotive manufacturing experience. High-volume manufacturing experience. Experience supporting new-product launches, engineering changes, and production transfers. Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Kanban, Just-in-Time, 5S, standard work, root-cause analysis, corrective action, and continuous-improvement methodologies. What Success in This Role Looks Like The Production Control Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that daily production schedules and priorities are clearly communicated, accurately monitored, and adjusted appropriately to support customer requirements and plant objectives. Success in this position requires effective coordination of daily production planning, scheduling, production orders, material requirements, WIP, production priorities, customer requirements, recovery activities, and shift-to-shift communication. The Supervisor will also be expected to maintain accurate use of SAP, MES, ERP/MRP, and other production-control systems while helping improve schedule attainment, production flow, inventory accuracy, material availability, customer delivery, system accuracy, production efficiency, and overall plant performance.
