Production Team Lead /
Production Supervisor Location:
Onsite (5 days per week)
Shift:
1st Shift (5:30 AM - 3:00 PM) About the Role We are seeking a hands-on Production Team Lead / Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations and lead a team of production employees. This role is responsible for ensuring production goals are met while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, productivity, and employee engagement. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise production team members on the shop floor. Ensure daily production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are achieved. Provide guidance, training, coaching, and performance feedback to employees. Assign work, manage staffing needs, and coordinate overtime when required. Monitor production processes and resolve operational issues to minimize downtime. Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with safety procedures. Investigate and address performance, attendance, and workplace concerns. Support continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements. Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and operations teams to improve efficiency. Track team performance and help achieve departmental goals and objectives. Required Qualifications Degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. Experience leading or supervising employees in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, or industrial environment. Strong leadership and team-building skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of workplace safety practices and regulations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed to support production requirements. Preferred Background Candidates with experience in: Manufacturing Operations Production Supervision Assembly Operations Industrial Manufacturing Warehouse or Distribution Leadership Continuous Improvement Initiatives Medical, dental, and vision insurance are available to qualified candidates who meet eligibility requirements.
