Responsibilities Manage daily sourdough and bakery production activities. Plan production schedules based on orders and demand. Supervise, train, and support bakery production staff. Monitor product quality, consistency, and presentation. Ensure recipes and production procedures are followed accurately. Manage ingredient inventory and coordinate supply needs. Track production levels, waste, and product availability. Maintain clean, organized, and safe production areas. Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and rotation. Follow food safety and sanitation requirements. Coordinate production with retail and customer orders. Identify workflow improvements and production issues. Assist with hiring, training, and employee development. Support the bakery team during high-volume production periods. Qualifications Previous bakery, food production, or manufacturing management experience preferred. Strong leadership and staff-management skills. Knowledge of bakery production and food safety practices. Excellent organization and time-management abilities. Strong attention to detail and product quality. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple production priorities. Reliable, professional, and team-oriented. Ability to work early mornings, weekends, or holidays when required.
